Skysat Partners with Konica Minolta to Deliver AI-Powered Printing Solutions
Skysat Technologies Ghana Limited, in partnership with Konica Minolta, has launched the Konica Minolta Print Experience Centre to provide businesses and institutions in Ghana with access to AI-enabled printing and imaging technology.

The facility is aimed at supporting the corporate, commercial and production printing sectors with advanced printing solutions that incorporate automation, cloud integration and enhanced security features. The machines are designed to support functions such as secure printing, data encryption, usage monitoring and AI-assisted print management.
Company representatives said the new technology also offers industrial finishing options, including embossing and UV coating, while reducing printing costs and maintaining high-quality output.
As part of the rollout, Konica Minolta announced plans to expand operations to Kumasi and other parts of the country. The company said the expansion is based on market research intended to address the needs of Ghana’s growing print and packaging industry.
The launch also introduced promotional packages for customers, including discounted machine purchases, free service contracts and maintenance support for existing Konica Minolta equipment users.
Skysat Technologies stated that the initiative will focus on improving operational efficiency, accountability and data security for organisations that rely on printing and document management systems. The company added that after-sales support would include technical servicing, spare parts supply, preventive maintenance and customer training.
Konica Minolta officials said the project is expected to support developments in packaging, industrial printing and managed print services in Ghana.
Former Education Minister Yaw Adutwum, who attended the launch event, said the partnership could improve access to high-speed and professional printing services for businesses, schools and event organisers. He noted that the print experience centre would allow users to access advanced printing capabilities without necessarily owning the equipment.
The newly launched centre forms part of broader efforts by Skysat Technologies and Konica Minolta to expand access to digital and AI-driven printing solutions in Ghana.
