The new series includes two models: the imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX C5860i RM and C5840i RM, with print speeds of up to 60 and 40 pages per minute, respectively. According to the company, the devices are rebuilt using standardized global procedures intended to restore them to operational condition comparable to new units.

Canon stated that the remanufacturing process involves reusing more than 90% of parts per device, along with diagnostic testing, cleaning, and replacement of key components where necessary. The company also indicated that the models are based on existing imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX systems, which are designed for office workflow and reliability.

The launch represents an expansion of Canon’s remanufacturing activities into the U.S. market. Company representatives said the move aligns with broader environmental objectives, including efforts to reduce waste and extend product lifecycles.

The imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX C5800 RM Series is currently available for order in the United States.
