Two Seizure and Forfeiture Orders Issued

California-based 99 Ink Inc. has been issued two seizure and forfeiture orders. They had attempted to import inkjet ink cartridges and ink supplies into the USA.

Customs denied entry of the ink products into the US, and reported the matter to the United States International Trade Commission (USITC). As a result, USITC has issued two seizure and forfeiture orders against 99 Ink Inc.

Copies of documents dated on October 6, provided to RT Media, show that shipments violated two GEOs related to 337-723 and 337-691 investigations respectively.

To date, USITC has issued 30 seizure and forfeiture orders related to the 337-691 investigation and 20 concerning the 337-723 investigation.
