Remanufacturer Wins Best OEM Alternative Cartridge Award

Egreen, a registered brand of UAE-based Al Huthaib Trading has won the prestigious “Best OEM Alternative Toner Cartridge Brand” during the annual MEA Business Awards.

This year, the awards were hosted virtually in the United Arab Emirates because of COVID-19 restrictions.

Founding Chairman Aliasger Badri (pictured) is delighted with the recognition. He told RT Media, “This award will help us open new doors and enter into new markets.” He said such awards re-enforce the high standards achieved in environmentally-friendly remanufactured cartridges at eGreen.

According to Badri, the company remanufactures printer toner cartridges of all major printer brands including HP, Samsung, Brother, Canon, Kyocera, Ricoh and Sharp. “We are based in Dubai, UAE and our remanufacturing facilities are in Sharjah, which is a neighbouring emirate of Dubai,” Badri said. “We also operate in Uganda and are supplying all the major countries in the Middle East and Africa region.”

Al Hutaib trading has been in business since 2004. According to Badri, the company has thousands of corporate customers and is remanufacturing about 20,000 cartridges a month. “We have developed our own brand including packaging and we also offer maintenance and MPS contracts.”
