Recycling Program Launched to Support Fundraising

Rapid Refill Ink and Urban E-Recycling has jointly launched “Electronics for a Cause,” offering free recycling of consumer electronics.

According to pressreleaserocket, accepted items for proper recycling include: ink and toner cartridges, printers, copiers, computers, servers, modems, etc.

Office and household used electronics can be dropped off at Rapid Refill Ink’s Tampa location during working hours. Donations of large quantities are welcomed and free pick-up is available. For computer hard drives, Urban E-Recycling will wipe and shred them off-site and provide a data destruction certificate.

The event also provides a secure on-site document shredding service at a discounted rate.

The program is said to last from November 15 till January 31, 2017. US-based the Diversity Initiative (TDI), Inc. will benefit from this program. TDI is dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion in the workforce. They prepare people with disabilities and help find them opportunities to use their unique skills, talents and abilities.
