California Company Hit by 337-691 Investigation

One more seizure and forfeiture order has been issued against infringing inkjet supplies.

According to document provided to RT Media, the entry of California-based Straightoutaink’s products into the U.S. were denied by the U.S. Bureau of Customers and Border Protection (Customs). The denial was dealt because of a violation of general exclusive order relating to 337-691 investigation. Customs reported the incident to the United States International Trade Commission (USITC). As a result, USITC issued a seizure and forfeiture order towards Straightoutaink.

To date, USITC has issued 16 seizure and forfeiture orders in 2016 relating to HP 337-691 investigation.
