Managed Print Services Giants Merge in UK

Balreed Digitec Group Ltd, one of the UK’S leading providers of managed services, has been acquired by Apogee Corporation Ltd.

Apogee, an independent managed print services specialist for over 20 years, is also based in the UK. Apogee was included on the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 List, and the Deloitte Futures 1000 Survey.

The acquisition, allows the two former companies to join forces to create the largest, independent, Europe-wide provider of managed services for print, document and process technology.

Two of Balreed’s group managing directors, Robin Stanton-Gleaves and Gary Downey will join the Apogee board, as Joint CEO and Group Marketing Director respectively. They will work alongside Joint CEO Jason Collins and the other Apogee Board members in the new expanded group.

This acquisition gives Apogee a run rate turnover of over £150m.”
