3 Million Epson Ink Cartridges Recycled

3 Million Epson Ink Cartridges Recycled

Epson Australia claims it has recycled three million Epson ink cartridges as a result of the popular Cartridges 4 Planet Ark (C4PA) program.

Ryan Collins, Recycling Programs Manager at Planet Ark, commented, “We’d like to congratulate Epson on this fantastic achievement. Their commitment to product stewardship helps provide consumers a free and easy way to recycle their cartridges and keeps the materials in use, rather than in landfill.”

Since joined the C4PA program in 2003, Epson has recycled approximately 23,000 cartridges per month through C4PA. The recycled ink cartridges are transformed into products such as plastic rulers, pens (even the ink in the pen is from the old cartridges), park benches and E-Wood.
