Konica Minolta Introduces Bizhub C364e/C284e/C224e Series

Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. Inc. (Konica Minolta) announced the release of the bizhub C364e/C284e/C224e Series of Color Multifunctional Products.

The latest models are considered enhanced versions of bizhub C364/C284/C224. They offer print/copy speeds of 36 ppm, 28 ppm and 22 ppm–bizhub C364e, bizhub C284e, bizhub C224e respectively. They are ideal for small- to medium-sized business environments and offer productivity to match user workflow. This series incorporates the latest evolution of the INFO-Palette design.

New enhancements contain: improved swiping; drag and drop; tap and toggle; pinch in and pinch out; and image rotation operations. The control panel offers direct access to downloadable apps from the Konica Minolta bizhub MarketPlace. Besides, security has been expanded on these new models to make them the first bizhub MFPs to comply with the IEEE 2600.1 international standard for MFP and printer information security. In addition, the new series provides Konica Minolta’s exclusive Emperon print system for built-in print control and the next-generation Simitri HD toner formulation for sharp, clear images.

The series also incorporates a wake-up function, which enables automatic answering for network communication. This leads to a larger power shutdown area that reduces power consumption in sleep mode. So electricity is only provided to the area needed to wake up the device. This new platform consumes less than 1.0-wattts during sleep mode and also improves TEC values.

Kevin Kern, senior vice president, Marketing, Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. gave his comments, “In today’s competitive business world, MFPs are considered part of an overall solution that provides added value company-wide, in terms of improved business efficiency and optimization. As an enhanced series of MFPs, the bizhub C364e, bizhub C284e and bizhub C224e exemplify how customers can count on Konica Minolta for solutions that allow them to manage information faster and more efficiently with less impact to the environment.”
