Epson Unveils Flatbed Document Scanner DS-1730/DS-1760WN
Epson America announced new document scanning solutions in its flatbed scanner lineup engineered for reliability and enhanced productivity – the DS-1730 and DS-1760WN flatbed color duplex document scanners.
Delivering exceptional quality and seamless integration at a great value, the versatile flatbed scanners allow users from industries including healthcare, finance, government, enterprise, and more, to scan a wide variety of media and streamline operations with powerful document workflows.
The DS-1730 and DS-1760WN offer a 60-page Auto Document Feeder (ADF) and advanced media handling to scan multiple documents simultaneously and accommodate large stacks plus long documents – up to 120″ on the DS-1730 and up to 220” on the DS-1760WN. They can scan a wide variety of media such as plastic cards (ID, insurance and credit/debit cards), passports, books, and fragile items. The scanners are compatible with a range of software solutions across multiple industries, and included TWAIN and ISIS® drivers ensure seamless integration with virtually any document management system. Featuring fast speeds of up to 30 ppm/60 ipm and single-pass duplex scanning, the scanners include a peak daily duty cycle of up to 3,000 pages and allow users to easily scan to email or online storage accounts with the included Epson Document Capture software.
Enhancing workgroup productivity with built-in wireless and wired Ethernet connectivity and ScanWay™ PC-free scanning, the DS-1760WN enables users to scan to a USB flash drive, email, network folders or online storage accounts without the need to install any software. It also includes an intuitive 2.4″ LCD touchscreen for easy access to user-defined jobs, settings and maintenance, and accommodates extra-long documents up to 220″.
