Berto Stunned by Office Laser Printer

Being stunned by a laser beam is one thing, but what if it was from your office printer?

Police will often use a “stun gun” laser as a tool. The startling spark and intimidating sound of 9 million volts will make an assailant think twice.

But the humble laser printer in the office? No. They are safe. But what if …

Berto Stunned by Office Laser Printer

What may have looked like a seemingly innocuous laser printer sitting in the heart of the bustling corporate jungle and the relentless hum of office machinery became the source of an office prank.

Unbeknownst to the employees, this printer harbored a mischievous secret—”stun mode.”

One fateful morning, as the clock struck nine, Bob stumbled into the office, clutching his coffee like a lifeline. As he approached the printer, ready to collect a stack of reports, one of his colleagues (check Berto’s cartoon this month to see who might have been the one who couldn’t resist the temptation) decided to prank him.

With a sly grin, the mischievous co-worker swiftly accessed the printer’s hidden settings and activated what could best be called, “stun mode.” As Bob pressed the innocuous “Print” button, the printer sprang to life with a malevolent glow, emitting an otherworldly hum.

Unsuspecting, Bob leaned in closer, squinting at the printer’s display. Suddenly, a blinding flash erupted from the machine, accompanied by a deafening zap! Bob’s eyes widened in shock as he was engulfed in a dazzling array of multicolored lights.

The office fell silent as Bob slumped to the ground, out cold, his coffee cup tumbling from his grasp. The prank achieved legendary status within seconds, and shocked voices echoed as colleagues rushed to Bob’s aid.

When Bob finally regained consciousness, he found himself surrounded by concerned coworkers, their faces a mixture of relief and amusement. He struggled to make sense of what had happened

Despite the embarrassment, Bob couldn’t help but chuckle along with the rest of the office. From that day forward, the office laser printer was regarded with a mixture of reverence and caution, and Bob learned to approach it with a healthy dose of skepticism.

And so, in the annals of office lore, the tale of Bob’s encounter with the stun mode laser printer became a cherished memory, serving as a reminder that even the most mundane of office appliances could harbor unexpected surprises.
