Following the successful kickoff in Bangkok on April 9, the RT VIP Imaging Expo Asia 2026 continued its journey across Southeast Asia with its second stop in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on April 13.

As one of the largest economies in the region, Malaysia plays a vital role as a logistics and trade hub within ASEAN. Its printing and imaging market, largely reliant on imports, has shown steady growth in recent years. Despite global digitalization trends, demand for printed materials in Malaysia remains resilient, especially across business and education sectors.

Throughout one-day VIP-style event, buyers and exhibitors engaged in continuous discussions, exploring product performance, pricing strategies, and long-term cooperation opportunities. The venue remained lively, with visitors moving actively between booths and showing strong interest in cost-effective, high-performance printing solutions.

Malaysian buyers demonstrated clear preferences shaped by local market conditions. Beyond product quality, after-sales service emerged as a decisive factor for many buyers.  “The reliability of the product is critical for us, especially given the limited service options available locally,” shared one visitor at the event. “We are looking for partners who can provide both quality and long-term support.”

To facilitate deeper engagement, the event also included a working lunch and afternoon tea break, offering participants a more relaxed setting to continue discussions.
