Top 100 Company Announces Merger

One of the biggest suppliers of MPS solutions in Canada says it will acquire a manufacturer of ink, toner, media and paper products.

According to CDN, QRX Technology Group is the No. 53 solution provider on CDN’s Top 100 list. The company’s acquisition of Kerr Norton will consolidate its position in the IT equipment, supplies and services market. Kerr Norton possesses environmental awareness in recycling and remanufactured cartridges. So it can provide more environmental solutions for QRX’s product range after the acquisition.

QRX was established in 1989 and is a privately-owned company specializing in customized solutions for its corporate clients, government and institutions in Canada. It is also a reseller of the printing and imaging equipment and provides the entire range of managed print service solutions and services.

Kerr Norton started up producing typewriter ribbons 75 years ago. Now it has accumulated 20 years experience in cartridge remanufacturing. The company also has a green program for reducing waste and reuses raw materials, which is the company’s inseparable marketing strategy.
