Cartridge World Restructures its Network in Europe

The CEO of Cartridge World UK & Ireland has acquired the rights to a larger slice of the larger franchise network in Europe.

The additional territory covers France, Spain and Portugal. According to Cartridge World Franchisee masters Paul Callow and David Almand—who are CEO and COO respectively, the combined network will now own 200 stores with combined revenues approaching €30 million ($33 million).

Callow believes the larger network allows their franchisees to be more strategic in their business objectives, look beyond refilling ink cartridges and cartridge sales, as well as offer a whole range of managed printing products and solutions.

He added: “Since joining Cartridge World in April this year, the team and I have combined our expertise in the printing industry with Cartridge World systems to develop a range of strategies, partnerships and business tools, which are all contributing to growth and increased profitability for our franchise owners in the British Isles. This announcement enables us to continue this work across a significantly larger territory.”

Rod Young, the Global CEO of Cartridge World, stated that to reposition the brand in such areas was “absolutely critical”. “We have to get our message out to the business community,” said Rod Young. “Cartridge World delivers incredible value-for-money savings and product consistency that can be relied on for all printing needs.”
