“Supplier Status” Awarded on Government Framework

Canon has been granted a position in three lots for the British Crown Commercial Service (CCS) RM3781 framework.

The three categories are “Multifunctional Devices (MFDs) and Entry Level Print Management Software (via eCommerce)”, “MFDs and Print Management Service”, and “Managed Print and Content Management Services”.

Due to the reduction in print volumes and the increasing need for digitizing, the framework integrates MFDs, Print Management and Records Information Management Services under one agreement, according to Canon. The OEM claims that customers will benefit from its broad portfolio of products, software and services while achieving full end-to-end information management solution.

“Canon has been a significant supplier to the UK public sector for over 30 years,” said Robert Pickles, Head of Corporate and Government Affairs, Canon UK & Ireland. “This latest award ensures that the company is ideally placed to develop and grow its business with public sector organizations. We’re delighted to be strengthening our continued partnership with Crown Commercial Service.”

The framework is designed to drive further cost savings and improvements in business efficiency for the entire UK public sector, supporting public bodies from the smallest primary school to the largest government department.
