Sharp Corporation Revenue and Profits up for Nine-Month Period
Sharp Corporation of Japan – now a part of Foxconn – reported results for the nine months ending on December 31, 2017, with net sales up 23 percent, and all segments reporting growth. According to Sharp, profits continue to show significant improvement, and have grown year-over-year for five consecutive quarters. For the nine months, profits totaled 71.1 billion yen, versus a loss of 15.2 billion yen for the same period a year earlier.
Sharp’s Smart Business Solutions segment – which includes copier/MFPs and other business products – also saw significant sales improvement.
