75% of Egyptian Printer Market Share Acquired

A global leading provider of document solutions and services has claimed a year-over-year increase of 12% in Egyptian printer market share.

According to dailynewsegypt.com, in light of the data provided by the International Data Corporation (IDC), Xerox’s market share in the Egyptian printing market has risen from 63% in 2016 to 75% in 2017.

The graphic sector is one of Xerox’s most crucial divisions, contributing greatly to their business growth in the Egyptian printer market. The sector constitutes approximately 40% of the entire volume of Xerox’s business in Egypt, and is responsible for producing high quality printers.

Xerox’s graphic department aims to serve multiple business sectors, ranging from printing, to advertising and marketing, to print-on-demand and to color separation partnerships.

Xerox Egypt introduced digital printing devices in 2013. Since then, its graphic business has signed contracts with around 200 customers, including hospitals, medical and radiology centers.

In addition, Ashraf Nathan, general manager of graphics in Xerox Egypt, said that the company is dedicated to providing after-sale services to all Egyptian customers for increasing its market share.
