Russian Printing Supplies Market Research Report

Business Inform, a Russian informational Agency, has completed research on the Russian printing supplies market (January 2015-June 2015).

From January to June in 2015, monochrome laser printing market shares for the six leading OEMs indicated various changes, compared to the results of 2013-2014. As showed in the below chart, the top three biggest market shares of cartridges for monochrome laser printing go to HP(47.9%), Samsung(15.78%) and Xerox(14.86%), while Kyocera(10.65%) came in fourth place. Canon (4.43%) and Brother (3.01%) occupied the smallest market shares among the six leading OEMs. The total shares of the six OEMs in the monochrome printing supplies markets amounted to 96.63%, up 4.08% compared to that of 2014. Compared to 2013-2014 results, Samsung and Kyocera saw a considerable growth in cartridge sales, while Xerox and Canon decreased.

Market shares of cartridges for color laser printing supplies reported that HP was still in the lead, at 48.94%, with Xerox (36.38%) coming right after. The ratios of the other three leading OEMs were: Kyocera was at 6.88%, Epson was at 1.21% and Samsung 2.98%. In total, the five leading OEMs occupied more than 96.63% of the color laser printing supplies market, up 7.27% compared to that of 2014. Comparing with 2013-2014 results, both Kyocera and Xerox saw increased sales, while Epson and HP met decline in cartridge sales.
