Ricoh will launch the new printer first in Malaysia, which they call the Ricoh Pro C7100x series. Ricoh claims it will print at speeds of up to 90 color pages per minute (ppm), and has an optimal image quality of up to 1200 x 4800 dpi (dots per inch) using Ricoh’s enhanced Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser (VCSEL) technology.

Ricoh says the printer can be used in various applications to deliver a premium finish, on an extensive range of media such as synthetics, textures as well as paper.

Ricoh Malaysia’s Managing Director, Peter Wee, says “By adding Ricoh Pro C7100x series digital presses to the business workflow, clients can boost their returns on investment, expand their digital print services, and assure customers of exceptional image quality with fast turnaround times.”
