Ricoh Forms New Company in the Middle East

Ricoh announced it has set up a new company in the Middle East to support customers and partners more directly in major emerging markets.

According to the OEM, the new company will be head quartered in Dubai to support the region, catering to local needs and the demand for new digital office solutions.

Kiyoshi Shimizu, General Manager of Emerging Market Business Center, Ricoh Co., Ltd, said, “We are excited to strengthen our business in the  Middle East. Our expansion will enable us to provide customers value proposition and contribute to growing the overall market.”

Trading under the name Ricoh Middle East, the company will work with Ricoh’s existing distributors and business partners. Also, it will function as a training center on Ricoh products, solutions and services, with an innovation center to be established which will focus on furthering research and development in the region.
