Printfleet Adds Value to its Channels

PrintFleet resellers will now benefit from a value-added reporting tool that will enhance their fleet management capabilities.

This increase of capabilities is due to a partnership PrintFleet formed with Brother International Corporation.

According to enxmag.com, the value-added reporting tool, namely the Brother Dashboard, allows resellers to visually demonstrate how managed print can increase efficiencies, reduce cost and improve device management. The Dashboard is also integrated into PrintFleet Optimizer platform, with over 4,500 PrintFleet dealers utilizing it to effectively manage their customers’ fleets.

The Dashboard will process on basis of automatic device data collected by PrintFleet’s Data Collection Agent (DCA) and custom the total cost of ownership values entered by resellers.

It is said that device and meter data can be displayed in multiple widgets. These data include problem devices, power usage, utilization, page coverage and toner levels among other key print reports.

“As managed print services evolve, it is not enough to just collect the data; resellers and OEMs must act on it and help users optimize their entire fleet of devices, increase efficiency and manage print-related costs,” said Dan Waldinger, director of solutions and services, at Brother. “We engaged with PrintFleet to jointly provide a Dashboard that by its nature is a call-to-action for providers to continually optimize the environment of their customers.”
