Third Party Test Shows Aftermarket Cartridges Match OEMs’

CIG has announced that its remanufactured cartridges were proven to match the original cartridges through test conducted by BLI, an independent third party test lab.

Clover Imaging Group (CIG) states in a press release that it has commissioned Buyers Laboratory (BLI) to pit its cartridges against OEM cartridges under ISO test conditions. The company claims it is the first aftermarket company to be against the OEM to debunk the historical rhetoric that remanufactured, eco-friendly print cartridges don’t measure up to the original branded cartridges.

According to CIG, the page yield produced by its toner cartridges were evaluated with ISO protocols, image quality, and reliability performance. BLI has also compared the performance of CIG’s product to that of original HP cartridges in the HP Color Enterprise M651 printer, the HP LaserJet M402n printer, and the HP LaserJet P3015 printer.

CIG Provides New Program for Dealers

The aftermarket company says its cartridges performed exceptionally in all measurable metrics including yield, image quality, and reliability. It also claimed that its toners had a 100% success rate out of 54 cartridges that were tested out of the box. All the tested toners were without defects or hard failures, overshadowing the third part tests cited in the past. Additionally, its average continuous yield numbers have exceeded the OEM’s stated yield across all cartridge types.

“We have always maintained that CIG cartridges are a true alternative to the OEMs,” said Eric Martin, President of CIG. “We now have quantifiable data to back up our claims, thanks to this test.”

Luke Goldberg, EVP Global Sales and Marketing for CIG comments, “”This independent test proves that consumers get almost identical quality and reliability from CIG’s eco-friendly alternative.”
