Parts Now Announces Updated Website

Parts Now announced the launch of its new ecommerce website, which, the company claimed, provides customers a simplified way to find products and a customized buying experience.

As was revealed, the new website allows customers to access available inventory at all of its seven distribution centers across North America. The company believes the site will offer “the same level of functionality and convenience found within popular consumer ecommerce websites”.

In addition, the new website features the ability to determine shopping roles and limits for employees once the user registers. Parts Now noted that this allows businesses to create shopping lists for approval, or order product without viewing pricing (if required).

Matthew McLeish, Vice President for Sales and Marketing at Parts Now, commented, “In order to better support our customers today and ready their businesses for future growth, we have made significant investments in ecommerce solutions, warehouse logistics and product line expansions over the last 12 months. Most imaging industry distributor processes require customers to interact with a sales representative every time they need to check a price, inquire about inventory, follow up on a shipment or request replacement options. This can lead to wasted time and lost profits. We’ve created new options. The new PartsNow.com streamlines the order process, creating an enhanced buying experience for our customers; the first of its kind in our industry.”

The company also stated that customers of PartsNow.com will receive FREE UPS Ground shipping on online orders above $200 until March 31, 2014.
