Non-infringing Toner Cartridges Launched

One of the largest manufacturers of printer supplies in China has introduced a series of replacement toner cartridges for Samsung D101 and D111 series of toner cartridges.

According to Orink, its new products possess various features that do not infringe on the patents of Samsung’s products. The new products differ from the OEM’s in several aspects of design: the manufacturer’s products do not contain a hollow on the cartridge, nor do they have a protect plastic and the sealing film, or a flat throughout OPC steel at each edge of the toner cartridge.

Patents of Samsung’s D101 and D111 series of toner cartridges that Orink’s new products do not infringe include: No. EP2357537B1, No. US8422908 and No. US7899361.

In addition, Orink’s new products also have innovative features including the two isolated brackets at two sides of the waste tank to avoid OPC pollution, simplified structure and improved hardness of the waste tank that prolong the service, and the lateral chip position switched from built-in to increase manufacture efficiency, etc.
