Kyocera Releases Management Changes
Kyocera Corporation has seen changes in directors as to strengthen its management organization.
According to the OEM, Goro Yamaguchi (pictured) will replace Tetsuo Kuba to become the Chairman and Representative Director of Kyocera. Goro Yamaguchi currently works as the “President and Representative Director” and “President and Executive Officer” in the company. Hideo, the current “Director” and “Managing Executive Officer,” will succeed Goro Yamaguchi’s positions.
The decisions have been approved by the board of directors at the meeting held on February 24, 2017, and will be effective on April 1, 2017.
Tetsuo Kuba is resigning from his current positions to be the “Corporate Advisor” and “Director,” and Tatsumi Maeda will leave his job as “Vice Chairman and Representative Director” to be a director, both as of April 1, 2017. Kuba and Maeda are scheduled to resign from the board of directors at the annual general meeting of shareholders in June 2017, from which Maeda will serve as the “Advisor.”
