Kyocera Promises Better Cost Effectiveness with New Printer

The ECOSYS range has expanded by Kyocera with the release of its new A4 color printer—the ECOSYS P7040cdn.

Kyocera claim it is purposely designed for teams who need a variety of media capability. The new release features a high print speed of 40 pages per minute with low cost per page, as well as five paper trays and high paper capacity.

The printer benefits from Kyocera’s ECOSYS technology, which includes a long life drum with a yield of up to 300,000 pages. The unique ECOSYS cartridge-free design maximizes durability and minimizes the total cost of ownership with regard to maintenance, administration and consumables.

Sarah White, Product Marketing Manager at Kyocera Document Solutions UK said: “As organizations across sectors strive to increase productivity, we’re delighted to bring a highly cost effective and hard-working printer to our customers. With a high print speed and the lowest total cost ownership within the range, this color device is an exceptionally economical device to run, perfect for any organization needing a highly functional device with full flexibility.”

According to the company, the device will replace the existing ECOSYS P7035cdn and is an extension of the existing A4 color printer range launched in June 2015. Other features include: print quality of up to 9,600 dpi with multi-bit technology and mobile printing functionalities such as AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, Kyocera Mobile Print and Mopria.
