HP Releases New Smart Tank models

New HP Refillable Ink-Tank All-in-Ones, the Smart Tank 315 and Smart Tank Wireless 415

wirthconsulting.org reports, HP Inc. is expanding its Smart Tank series of refillable color-inkjet ink-tank All-in-One printers in Central Europe and the Middle East (CEMA), with two new additions, the HP Smart Tank 315 and HP Smart Tank Wireless 415, both billed as providing high-volume quality printing at a low cost-per-page for micro businesses.

Both All-in-Ones (with print, copy, and scan) ship with dye-based cyan, magenta, yellow, and pigment-based black (CYMK) ink bottles for printing up to 8,000 pages in color or 15,000 pages in black, “all at a low cost per page.”

The All-in-Ones’ ink tanks can be refilled using HP Original Smart resealable ink bottles, and the transparent ink tanks are said to make it easy to monitor ink levels.

The Smart Tank 315 features a USB port, while the HP Smart Tank Wireless 415 features Wireless connectivity, USB port, and Wi-Fi Direct connectivity, and provides printing and scanning from smartphones and tablets by downloading the free HP Smart App. Via the app, users can print photos from social media, the cloud, and smartphones’ camera roll, as well as scan and share to email or the cloud from virtually anywhere, as well as order ink at the touch of a button.

The All-in-Ones are rated at up ISO 19 (black)/15 (color) ppm in draft mode, with resolution rated at up to 1,200 x 1,200 dpi.

The HP non-biding manufacturer recommended street price (MRSP) for HP Smart Tank 315 printer starts at AED 599 (inclusive of 5-percent VAT) and is expected to be available in the United Arab Emirates this month.
