Industry Winners announced at Global Awards Ceremony

RT Media’s annual Global Industry Awards Ceremony saw hundreds attend the gala event at the Zhuhai Convention and Exhibition Center on October 12, 2016. 12 international companies including Clover, Uninet, Apex Microelectronics and Print-Rite were awarded because of their outstanding performance in the print consumables industry.

Of the 12 awards, the most competitively nominated award—the Quality Leader Award —was won by Apex Microelectronics Co. Delivering high quality and fast updates in printer cartridge chip technology, Apex proved itself to those nominating, and the 13 international judging panel, to provide non-infringement chip products for the international aftermarket.

The Excellent Service Award was presented to Uninet Imaging Inc for continuing to provide excellent, outstanding technical articles and support, not only to its customers, but also to the wider global industry.

In order to commemorate the world renowned imaging pioneer Art Diamond—who passed away just 8 weeks earlier—the organizers (Recycling Times Media) established the Diamond Pioneer Award, to be presented annually to an individual that demonstrates a unique enterprising, pioneering or entrepreneurial spirit that advances the imaging industry. This year, it was awarded to Arnald Ho, who was the first remanufacturer in China with Print-Rite, 35 years ago. In addition, the company, under Ho’s leadership, has researched been awarded almost 2,600 patents.

This year, the organizer received more than 2,000 worldwide nominations. The finalists, along with those highly commended and commended, are:

Tony Lee, managing director of RT Media said, “The 12 awarded companies are all unique in their research and development, marketing strategies and brand building, and set a high standard and good example to the rest of us in the aftermarket industry.”

For more than 25 years, the industry’s most popular publication—Recharger Magazine, based in the U.S.A—supported and nurtured the Aftermarket industry with news, articles, and technical support. It started the tradition of presenting annual awards. In January 2014, Recycling Times Media (RT Media) acquired Recharger Magazine and continued the popular industry tradition.
