Imaging Summit Offers A Bright Light in Dark Times

Attendees at the first imaging summit in Europe will receive a free LED light.  But most will come to find further “light” from patent attorneys on how they can steer their cartridge remanufacturing businesses away from costly lawsuits with printer manufacturers, like Canon.

Recycling Times Media, organizer of the world’s largest print consumable expo — RemaxAsia World Expo—will hold their first European event in Barcelona, Spain dedicated to the digital print industry. They have called upon 12 legal, trends and technical experts to explain how the aftermarket industry can survive in tough times.

The RT Imaging Summit & Expo Europe will be held in the Barcelona International Convention Centre (CCIB) on January 15 and 16, 2015. Those who register online before the event will receive an LED lamp sponsored by SPEED, a manufacturer of recycled inkjet and toner cartridges for all popular makes and models of printers. Pre-registered attendees can also save on the admission as well.

The two-day summit will deal with intellectual property issues, market trends, new market opportunities and new technologies.

Many remanufacturers and distributors of printer cartridges are looking to China to provide non-infringing components for the European market. So a two day expo will run at the same time as the summit with 40 European and Asian companies present.

Many are booking appointments with well-known Chinese entrepreneur Jackson Wang, head of the Ninestar Group of companies that includes Pantum and Apex Microelectronics.

Others want to see the new array of 3D printers which will provide remanufacturers with new business opportunities in Europe.

Organisers expect the RT Imaging Summit & Expo Europe to create business links and platforms that will extend from Barcelona throughout Europe and into Africa and Latin America.
