HP Unveils Quantum-Resistant LaserJet Printers
HP has introduced two new monochrome printer lines—the LaserJet Pro 4000/4100 Series and the LaserJet Enterprise 5000/6000 Series—focused on improving document workflows, security, and operational efficiency for businesses.

Security is a central feature of the enterprise line, incorporating quantum-resistant capabilities alongside HP Wolf Enterprise Security to reduce exposure to cyber threats. Sustainability is also emphasized, with energy-efficient certifications and toner cartridges containing recycled materials.
The LaserJet Pro 4000/4100 Series is designed primarily for small and medium-sized businesses with limited IT resources. The devices feature a compact design, simplified setup, and enhanced connectivity through Wi-Fi 6 with self-reset capability. Performance improvements include faster automatic two-sided printing and reduced operating costs, supported by updated TerraJet toner technology that increases efficiency and page yield. Built-in security features include quantum-resistant protection and tamper-resistant components, while optional fleet management tools enable centralized oversight. AI-powered tools further streamline workflows by automating document formatting, naming, and sharing tasks.
The LaserJet Enterprise 5000/6000 Series targets larger organizations and high-demand office environments. These printers deliver higher throughput, with print speeds of up to 57 pages per minute and scanning speeds reaching 200 images per minute for duplex tasks. The devices support predictive maintenance through remote monitoring services, and key components are designed for quick replacement to minimize downtime.
Advanced document processing capabilities are integrated into the enterprise models, including AI-enhanced optical character recognition for converting documents into searchable digital files. Additional features such as automated redaction of sensitive information and integration with cloud-based productivity tools support compliance and improve document handling efficiency.
Both product lines are positioned to support hybrid work environments by bridging physical and digital document workflows while enhancing productivity and security.
