The global demand for office stationery and supply products continues to grow and is expected to exceed US$217 billion by 2019.

Technavio identified four major trends impacting the global office stationery and supply market through to 2019.

The first emerging segment is multi-channel marketing. With booming online shopping, manufacturers and retailers are using various channels to market their products through both online and offline platforms. The global office supplies market is increasingly promoting and selling products online.

Another trend, driven by IT integration and industry automation, is the growing demand for computer or printer supplies including cartridges.

Other key trends, highlighted by the researcher, include business expansion through mergers and acquisitions and green products.
