G&G Delivers Compatible Ink for Epson EcoTank Printers
Ninestar’s G&G supplies brand has developed its own patented solution for ink bottles that can be used in the range of Epson EcoTank range printers.
G&G’s Media Specialist, Ruby Wei, says the “OEM-equivalent ink provides end-users with a reliable, quality and best filling experience.”
The new generation of Epson EcoTank printers was introduced in 2020 and are designed for use in the home office or as a small office desktop solution. The high speed ET-5800 printer is equipped with easy-to-fill, supersized ink tanks, and there is no need for consumers to squeeze the ink into the printer. Epson claims it is a no-mess method for filling.
The Epson product codes for the inks are Epson EcoTank 113 (Europe), T542 (North America), IT08 (Japan) and 008 (Asia).
Patented Solution
Ruby Wei said, “The G&G product is an OEM-equivalent, yet we have redesigned, developed and patented the spout design to make sure we are not infringing the patents of others, but more importantly to ensure there is no ink leakage when refilling the printer from the bottle.”
According to Wei, the inks are fully compatible with the OEM in that they have superior waterproofing and are smudge-resistant. “The text is clear with sharp edges and the colors are vibrant.” Wei also pointed out the bottles are manufactured on a fully automated production line which guarantees the consistency of the quality of the inks.

I have an Ecotank 7750 and when refilling the 512 BK with G&G ink the ink spilled all over the printer and the table under the printer. I bought the G&G from LD Products. When using ink labeled LD and when using OEM Epson ink nary a drop has spilled. But the G&G spilled all over the place. Anyone else have this problem or am I doing something wrong? I talked with a nice lady at LD about this. She said the G&G bottle spout must be defective. Maybe. But I also think the G&G bottle-spout *design* may be defective.
