Further 3,300 Jobs Cut to Offset Debt
HP plans to cut a further 3,300 jobs in the coming three years to offset an initial $6.8 billion total debt.
The plan comes on the heels of its recent 25,000 to 30,000 layoff announcement. HP claims that $300 million could be saved through this plan.
HP has released several news reports over the last 2 years relating to its planned layoffs, with a total of 58,000 layoffs already in place.
HP also claims its involvement in 3D printing will boost business after splitting.
