Former Lexmark Executive Reveals Deal with Ninestar-Apex

The deal to bring Lexmark and Ninestar together began in May 2015. All to be revealed at Barcelona Summit on April 21.

Giovanni Giusti (pictured), a former top Lexmark executive has revealed to RT Media, organisers of the RT Imaging Summit & Expo in Barcelona this week, that he was the one who introduced Ninestar-Apex CEO and Chairman Jackson Wang to Lexmark’s CEO Paul Rooke.

“It was in May 2015 in Lexington, Kentucky,” Giusti revealed. “I saw the great potential these two imaging giants had to offer each other. So I set up the meeting.”

Giusti now heads up Doxense based in Paris, France. He agreed months ago to keynote the Summit on April 21 at Hall 2 at the Fira in Barcelona.

Giusti will unpack the moves, at the summit, behind the US$3.6 billion deal revealed publicly today. “Knowing how Chinese companies are impacting the global imaging industry is a ‘must attend’ reason for the industry right now in Europe,” Giusti urged.

“Print consumables is a dynamic industry that must go forward, change, or die!” Giusti added.

Giusti is one of 12 speakers at the RT Imaging Summit & Expo—Europe 2016. Other players involved in recent consolidations, including Cartridge World, Static Control, Clover, Apex and Mito, will all gather at the Expo. Opportunities to have face-to-face conversations should not be missed. Come and ask them for your enquiry!
