ESY India Expects Sales of US$51 Million by 2016

ESY India launched a new, Continuous Ink Supply System (CISS) in India and expects to achieve sales of Rs 3 billion (about US$51 million) by 2016. The CISS product was first released in Kerala this March in a pilot marketing program. It has since gained 6,000 customers.

Mr. V.P. Sajeevan, CEO of ESY India, claimed that the cost of printing per page would be as low as 10 paisa (about US$0.0017) and it can help users cut 80% off their printing cost. He added that the new CISS will change the market in India as the cost of printing in this region is higher than other countries.

Furthermore, he said ESY India also plans to develop ESY Tab and ESY phone (smart phone) in addressing the growing digital market.

ESY India is a 100% subsidiary of ESYINK which is a leading ink manufacturer in Malaysia.
