Epson Unveils Channel for RIPS Inkjets

Epson has rolled out the distribution channel for its WorkForce Pro replaceable ink pack system (RIPS) range of business inkjet printers, which is available from a network of 26 selected managed print service providers throughout the UK. These providers include ASL, Bytek, Contrac, Sapphire Print Solutions and Scan DB.

According to the OEM, each partner will have complete access to service training and spare parts. Mark Allen, reseller product manager at Epson Business Imaging UK, said, “We have spent some time making absolutely sure we have just the right mix of partners. They are all well established in the managed print industry and combine a blend of product knowledge, market experience, sales support and training to ensure that our customers receive the very best levels of service possible.”

The new WorkForce Pro printers are a family of business inkjet printers utilizing a replaceable ink pack system which can print up to 75,000 pages and deliver up to 80% lower energy consumption.

Also, the range can offer businesses the predictable cost of printing with a centralized print model, but with the user and productivity benefits of a distributed printer fleet model. So they can be used as part of a managed print service plan.
