Epson Receives Best of the Best Red Dot Awards

Epson proudly announced that it won the Best of the Best Awards and Red Dot Awards at the 2024 Red Dot Design Award, an international design competition for product design, communication design and design concepts.

The DS-C480W and DS-C420W series document scanners received the Best of the Best award under the category of Product Design, which is the highest tier in the event with only a small proportion of entrants winning. These scanners are designed to achieve utmost compactness to fit into desktop environment. The U-turn document feeder, frontal operation panel and flattened back enable users to save space and work comfortably and smoothly. This marks the fifth year that Epson’s products have been awarded the Best of the Best accolade.

Some of Epson’s other products received the Red Dot prizes, including its business inkjet printers—WorkForce Enterprise LM-C4000, 5000 and 6000 range. This A3 printer is designed for medium and large size companies with high demands for printing. By applying Epson’s Micro Piezo technology, it can inject ink without using the traditional heat, thus reducing power consumption dramatically compared to other laser models. Along with a simple assembly design, the printer contribute to the improvement of office efficiency and alleviation of environmental impact.

Other products, including the garment printer SureColor SC-F2200 Series and auto color chart reading portable table, also receive this award.
