ENERGY STAR Awarded Two Years in a Row

Canon, the iconic digital imaging solutions provider has received an award for the second time from the EPA (United States Environmental Protection Agency).

According to Canon U.S.A., it has obtained the 2017 “Partner of the Year – Product Brand Owner Award” ENERGY STAR. This is the third time company has been honored with the award for three times, having received it last year as well.

Canon has been a partner of ENERGY STAR for more than 20 years. Till now, the company has provided over 200 products certified by ENERGY STAR, including Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE 6500/8500/C5500/C7500 series of MFPs and the third generation of imageRUNNER ADVANCE series.

Seymour Liebman, the executive vice president and chief administrative officer and general counsel of Canon U.S.A. said, “Environmental consciousness is ingrained in our company culture and this honor is the perfect reflection of that. To be named as an ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year for the second consecutive year speaks a great deal to the work that our company continues to do to ‘go green’ in regards to both our product manufacturing and supply chain.”
