Endowment Fund to Support Imaging Industry

INTEGRAL, one of the oldest independent toner manufacturers worldwide, is the founding donor for the Endowment Fund created by the Graphic Communication Institute (GrCI) of California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly), with an aim to support research, education and training in toner, inkjet, photoreceptor and related imaging technologies.

The company has been awarded the Diamond status for its contribution to support the initiation of the endowment. This fund is named after one of the graphic communication industry high profiles Mr. Art Diamond and will work for:

• Establishing one or more annual scholarships for a Cal Poly Graphic Communication Department junior or senior showing promise for a successful career in science, technology, engineering, math and/or liberal arts (STEM-LA) related to toners, photoreceptors or inkjet;
• Building, indexing and maintaining a searchable database at Cal Poly comprised of technical and industry publications, journals, periodicals and reports for general research and studies of digital imaging methods and materials;
• Supporting the ongoing presentation of Cal Poly Graphic Communication Institute seminars, workshops and conferences on topics related to toners, photoreceptors and inkjet industries; and
• Enabling GrCI efforts in ongoing research, testing, product evaluations and related services in the areas of toners, photoreceptors and inkjet.
