News of the tragic death of Wayne Gordon (51), and his wife Colette (50) (pictured) has rocked the Cartridge World network across the globe.

Gordon joined Cartridge World in February, 2013, opening his store in Amarillo, Texas as Cartridge World NTX-877.

The Gordon’s are survived by two sons, David and Aaron. Joe DeBerry, Master Franchisor of Cartridge World, broke the news. “It is with a heavy heart that I share with you that fellow Cartridge World store owner, were killed about 9am on Thanksgiving morning. Wayne loved to play golf and have fun, but he especially loved being a father to his two boys.”

According to clarendonlive.com, a 35 year old driver in a 2005 Volvo Truck Tractor, towing a 2008 Kentucky semi-trailer, was traveling at an unsafe speed in rain and lost control. The truck and trailer slid sideways into the path of the 2013 Hyundai passenger car driven by Wayne Gordon. Both Gordon and his wife died at the scene.

A memorial service will take place on Saturday, December 5, 2015 in the First Baptist Church at 300 South Bugbee Street, Clarendon, Texas.
