Ten New Color MultiFunction Printers Released

Sharp is not offering one, but 10 new multifunction printers in its new family of mid-to-high-volume color document systems, designed for businesses of any size.

The common toner supplies on all ten models will make it easier for customers to get the right consumables they need. Sharp says all ten models use common toner supplies so that users can have a seamless, intuitive experience for every price point.

Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA), a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation, say the two distinct varieties, the Advanced Series and Essentials Series are built on a clean sheet, single-engine design.

The Color Advanced Series consists of MX-3070N, MX-3570N, MX-4070N, MX-5070N, and MX-6070N, offering speeds of 30ppm, 35ppm, 40ppm, 50ppm and 60ppm respectively. Sharp claims to have provided easy-to-use, innovative features to enable businesses to better manage their workflows more efficiently. This includes high speed scanning up to 200 images per minute and a walk-up motion sensor that brings the machine to ready condition within 10 seconds. Other major features include: next-generation touchscreen display, integration with network applications and cloud services, multi-layered security features.

The Color Essential Series include MX-3050N, MX-3550N, MX-4050N, MX-5050N and MX-6050N, which offer out-of-box copying, network printing and network scanning at speeds of 30ppm, 35ppm, 40ppm, 50ppm and 60ppm respectively. Built on the same engine platform as the color Advanced Series, the color Essentials Series document systems are designed for cost conscious customers, offering full multifunction capability.
