Canon Opens the First Experience Center in Asia

A global leading manufacturer of office equipment has established the first experience center for customers to promote the development of its commercial printing business in Asia.

According to Canon, it has opened the Customer Experience Center Tokyo (CEC Tokyo) in the company’s Shimomaruko headquarter in Tokyo for customers to receive first-hand experience of Canon’s commercial printing products.

In the center, customers can testify the printing workflows by using the actual products as well. In addition, they can also take advantage of the print sample image-analysis service provided by the R&D department located in the building to improve image quality of their print.

Prior to Tokyo, the OEM has built up experience centers in the Netherlands, Germany and the U.S.

The establishment of the center was part of the Phase V of Canon’s Excellent Global Corporation Plan initiated in 2016. The center aims at serving customers not only in Japan but also in other regions, especially in Asia.
