OEM Cartridges Delivered to Door Instantly

HP has launched a service in Ireland that would allow customers to have original HP ink cartridges delivered to their door when they are running low on ink.

How does it work? Customers just have to sign up for a monthly subscription and insert the HP Instant Ink cartridges to their compatible printers. The Instant Ink cartridges would then send the printer’s ink levels to HP. When the ink levels reach below certain point, the result sent to HP will trigger a replacement cartridge to be sent to the address of the subscriber.

HP claims that the printing service will save customers up to 70 percent of the costs annually.

According to Irish Tech News, HP offers different prices according to the user’s average printing needs per month. Currently, three monthly pricing options are available in Ireland. They are €2.99 (US$3.20) for a 50-page plan; €4.99(US$5.34) for a 100-page plan and €9.99(US$10.69) for a 300-page version. The prices are the same for both black&white and color prints.

Gary Tierney, HP Ireland Managing Director, comments, “The three-tier subscription model means there will be a plan to suit most customer printing needs, regardless of whether they are a light or heavy print user. HP Instant Ink will ensure that customers in Ireland will never run out of ink again, whilst making significant cost savings and not compromising on quality of ink. It’s an all-round win win.”

The HP Instant Ink service is available at Currys PC World and Harvey Norman retail stores across Ireland.
