Canon Eyes East Africa

Canon has opened a subsidiary in Nairobi to expand the Eastern Africa market.

With the change of market status, the imaging giant opens 2013 with new market expansion strategy. The new office located in Kenya will serve as a representative office for Dubai-based Canon Middle East. As expected, it will help search for new customers in Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Somalia, Eritrea, Rwanda, Tanzania and Burundi.

Canon says it hopes the company can gather more in-depth reach into African while better understand its changing market dynamics and customer demands.

Both consumers and business market are targeted by the company.
