Canon Expands imageFORMULA Compact Scanner Lineup

Canon U.S.A. announced the launch of two new compact office document scanners, the imageFORMULA DR-C350 and DR-C340. Built to meet accelerating demand for digitization in small and flexible office environments, the new models offer stronger performance, broader media handling, and improved connectivity compared to their predecessors.

The DR-C350 and DR-C340 feature significantly enhanced scanning speeds—up to 50 ppm and 40 ppm respectively—along with a 100-sheet automatic feeder and new support for scanning virtually any passport. Their compact footprint, measuring just 11.2 inches in width, makes them the smallest in the imageFORMULA series to date, helping organizations maximize limited desk space.

  The new lineup supports enterprise environments with optional emulation tools for users migrating from DR-C240 and DR-C230 systems. It includes centralized management tools and bundled software compatible with major cloud services and select third-party applications.

The scanners also reflect Canon’s continued commitment to sustainability. The DR-C350 and DR-C340 meet ENERGY STAR® efficiency standards and comply with EU RoHS and WEEE directives. A 30% reduction in product width compared with earlier models lowers material usage, while improved energy efficiency and replaceable rollers support longer lifecycle management.
