Brother Launches 12 New PRIVIO Series A4 Inkjet Printers

Brother announced the release of 12 new A4 inkjet printers in its popular PRIVIO series this October, including the high-capacity FirstTank lineup designed for heavy-duty document printing.

The PRIVIO brand has earned strong customer support for its cost efficiency, compact size, and convenient front-loading four-color ink cartridge system. With this launch, Brother is expanding the lineup to include more models with extra-large ink cartridges, delivering greater value and longer-lasting performance.

Brother is positioning the FirstTank series as the flagship of this launch, with the key message: “High-Capacity Ink for Serious Document Printing.” These new models are built to provide reliable, high-quality printing for both home and office needs, helping customers work, study, and create more comfortably.

DCP-J4250N, MFC-J4450N, MFC-J4950DN

• Massive ink capacity: One black cartridge delivers the output of about 17 standard cartridges, while each color cartridge equals roughly 14 standard ones. With a durability rating of up to 100,000 pages, these printers are designed for high-volume demands.
• Ultra-low running costs: Prints as low as 0.8 yen per page for monochrome and 4.1 yen per page for color—cutting costs to less than one-third for monochrome and less than half for color compared with standard models.
• Sharp, detailed output: Equipped with pigment ink for all colors, ensuring crisp, easy-to-read text and clear details in charts and graphs.

DCP-J1270N (Entry-level FirstTank model)

• Ease of use: Features a built-in LCD display for easy setup and troubleshooting, plus automatic duplex printing to save paper.
• Balanced ink system: Uses pigment black ink for sharp text and dye-based color inks for vibrant, photo-quality output.

Other refreshed standard models alongside the launch include: DCP-J929N-W/B, DCP-J529N, MFC-J943DN/DWN, MFC-J742DN/DWN. This well-received series, popular for both home and office use, has been upgraded with improved print quality and a more compact design. The smaller footprint makes it easier than ever to fit into tight spaces without sacrificing performance.
