Katun Participates in TWAIN Converge Conference

Katun Corporation (Katun), provider of Arivia multifunction printers (MFPs) and leading supplier of OEM-equivalent imaging supplies for printers, copiers, and MFPs, recently participated in the TWAIN Converge: Business Practices & Developer Conference.
Held November 12–13 in Safety Harbor, Florida, the conference brought together global experts in robotics and data-capture intelligence for discussions on emerging technologies, innovative business practices, and application development.
As part of its involvement, Katun supplied an Arivia MFP along with detailed technical documentation to support training for Crickets’ AI-powered office resupply robot. The integrated system was publicly demonstrated for the first time during the conference.
The program also featured roundtable sessions addressing key industry challenges and offering practical insights for business development professionals. Concurrently, a cloud-capture application hackathon provided engineers with an opportunity to collaborate on next-generation solutions.
“We are proud to have participated in this year’s TWAIN Converge: Business Practices & Developer Conference and contribute to its spirit of innovation and collaboration,” said Chenyi Chiu, CEO of Katun. “Demonstrating how our Arivia MFP technology integrates with emerging AI-driven platforms like the Crickets resupply robot highlights the versatility and future-focused design of our products and solutions.”
“By partnering with TWAIN, Katun is positioning Arivia as an open-standards machine that can participate in a much broader IoT, robotics, and AI ecosystem,” said Kevin Neal, Executive Director of the TWAIN Working Group. “This shift toward interoperability is what enables ISVs, dealers, and solution developers to quickly monetize custom applications that differentiate their products, drive higher profit margins, and deliver cloud compatibility by default rather than exception.”
