Xerox Ranks Top in Patent Bagging

A review of the 2012 data shows that Xerox researchers acquired over 1,000 utility patents last year. It places Xerox one of the top 10 companies in U.S.

Three significant patents have been recently granted to Xerox for  flexible materials for transferring images in xerographic printing, method of improving image quality of digital color printers and a technology to be used in Xerox digital printers to help reduce the amount of toner.

Last December, Xerox recognized many researchers who reached significant patent milestones.

It’s said the company will continue to invest big money in producing marketable inventions, including around $675 million in research and development.
