Xerox Expands Pennsylvania Market

Global Imaging Systems (GIS), a Xerox wholly-owned subsidiary, has acquired Pennsylvania-based office equipment dealer Conestoga Business Solutions (CBS).

According to industryanalysts.com, CBS will provide the full range of Xerox office and printing technology, and managed print services after the acquisition.

Michael Pietrunti, Senior Vice President for Acquisitions, Corporate Services and Marketing at GIS noted the acquisition enables them to further expand the Pennsylvania market. Pietrunti noted, “We continue to put an emphasis on acquiring locally based companies that provide quality products and solutions and have clearly demonstrated a reputation for delivering world class customer service.”

Tom DeLellis, who has worked at CBS for 23 years, will continue to be the President of the new company. DeLellis believes, “This partnership will further strengthen our solutions while establishing a high level of customer satisfaction.”

Also, DeLellis observed, “We have partnered with a powerful team of leading technology partners, GIS and Xerox, to ensure that our customers’ complex needs are met now and in the future.”

GIS was acquired by Xerox in 2007 and has been engaged in selling and servicing document management systems, such as printers, copiers and multifunction devices; network integration services; and electronic presentation systems.
