Xerox Beats 99% Suppliers in Sustainability Efforts

Xerox Corporation has bagged a gold level award in sustainability performance.

It is said to be the eighth consecutive year the OEM received such an award from EcoVadis, the global sustainability ratings group. The award ranks Xerox in the top one percent of all supplier categories, and the top two percent in the category of “manufacturer of computers and peripheral equipment. ”

“Conducting our business and providing innovative products, solutions and services in ways that positively impact the world is at the core of what we do,” said Flor M. Colon (pictured), chair of the Xerox Corporate Social Responsibility Council. “We take great pride in being recognized by Ecovadis and celebrate with our employees around the world.”

Every year, EcoVadis conducts surveys on corporate policies, environmental initiatives and achievements, labor practices, fair business practices, and supply chain. The respondents cover 150 business sectors from 110 countries.
